Academic Integrity workshops - Online Online

Join us at one of our weekly workshops to find out about academic integrity, including the use of AI, and strategies to avoid common pitfalls. There will be a short presentation more 15 minutes on the topic, and the rest of the session is available for students to talk to Academic Skills Tutors on their concerns. 

These sessions are available to all students, but will be of particular interest to students who have been asked to attend an Investigative Interview, referred to an academic offences panel, or who have just attended either.

Academic Skills Tutors will be on hand to share experiences and support you through the process. 
Here are some topics we will cover: 

  • If my TurnitIn similarity rating is high, what do I do? (Monday March 3)
  • Understanding the process. Regulations - Academic Conduct. What the next stages are. (Monday March 10)
  • Using AI sensibly, General guidance and AI policy. How to use AI safely. Way of engaging with your studies. (Monday March 17)
  • Where do we go from here - Engaging in your studies. (Monday March 24)
