Getting to Grips With Databases In-Person

When you’re looking for information to use in assignments, tools like LibrarySearch and Google can be really helpful, but sometimes you need to go a bit further. Databases are tools provided by your university which help you discover academic information such as journal articles in a powerful way. They are absolutely essential for dissertations, but can be useful for many other purposes.

This will be a hands-on workshop introducing databases and giving the chance for hands-on practice using them.

This session is being run to coincide with Canterbury Christ Church University’s Personal Development Week, but is open to students from all 3 Universities at Medway.
