Professional use of social media In-Person

Most of us use at least one social media site regularly. They can be a great way to stay in touch with friends, but do you know how to make the best use of them professionally?

This workshop session will look at what to do (and what not to do) with social media tools to give you an edge in your profession. Twitter and LinkedIn will be the main social media sites that we discuss, though others such as Facebook or Instagram will also feature.

Get some tips, share some ideas, discuss and debate. This workshop is based on a session taught to engineering and pharmacology students, but will be applicable to all professions.

Workshop will be held in room DC107 in the Drill Hall Library (Medway campus).

The session is timed to coincide with University of Kent Enhancement Week, but is open to all students from University of Kent, University of Greenwich and Canterbury Christ Church University.
