Evaluating information (and fake news!) In-Person
We live in the information age, but not all information is equally useful. How can you tell good from bad, and how can you spot when something is deliberately misleading? This practical session will look at some examples, point out some useful clues, and give you a basic framework for evaluating the quality and relevance of any information you might want to use for your assignments.
Useful for: students at all levels.
This session will take place in room DC117 in the Drill Hall Library (Medway campus).
