Mental Health Essentials Online
This session will cover an overview of mental health and wellbeing among university students.
Stress and managing stress will be briefly discussed, and an easy breathing/ mindfulness exercise will be explored. Finally you will be introduced to the Mentally Healthy Universities Programme. This programme is a partnership between the mental health charity Mind and University of Greenwich. We will explore the free sessions available to all undergraduate students as part of this project and explain how students can access these sessions.
These workshops aim to help students build on their knowledge, skills and confidence to support their own mental health and that of others.
Please note - starting at the end of September as part of the Mentally Healthy Universities program there is also a FREE 4 week blended course for ALL UNDERGRAD STUDENTS teaching you tools and techniques to manage your mental health. To book your place go to the Eventbrite page.
