Informal meetups for staff and students, to enrich your English Language communication and engagement. Meet like-minded individuals who are looking for ways to connect and network in professional environments.
Who is it for?
International students and students wanting to improve their English Language communication skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing).
What will you do?
A fun activity followed by informal chats about the activity, current affairs or popular topics. Activities typically cover presentations, groupwork and discussions.
‘My country.’ Students choose 5 aspects of their country which reflect what for them constitute their country’s best qualities. This might include its food, its diversity, its religious or spiritual life, its architecture, its educational system, its transport system, its landscape, its cultural life and so on. Students ask each other questions about those choices and then discuss similarities and differences.
