Open Access and Academic Publishing Online
This session provides an introduction to the world of academic publishing, with a particular focus on journal articles. The session will cover an introduction to the academic publishing ecosystem, routes to open access and support available at Greenwich, publishing policies of major funders, REF and Greenwich.
After this session participants will have confidence selecting a journal for their publication, and navigating the submission, peer review and review process.
Participants will also understand key terminology around open access publishing, obligations under funder/REF/Greenwich policies and routes to complying with these with the support of the University.
Please note this workshop is intended for researchers as part of the PGR Academic and Library Skills Programme.
