Evaluating Information - Develop your academic writing Online

Develop Your Academic Writing: Evaluating Information

Not all information is equally reliable. This session will help you identify trustworthy academic sources and use them effectively in your assignments.

In this session, you will learn how to:

  • Identify reliable and credible academic sources.
  • Evaluate the quality and relevance of information.
  • Recognise the difference between academic and non-academic sources.
  • Find the most up-to-date research for your topic.
  • Select stronger sources to support your arguments and improve your academic work.

By the end of the session, you'll feel more confident evaluating sources and choosing high-quality evidence for your assignments.
